Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Stapilo ("we", "us", "our") operates the stapilo.com platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number when you create an account or contact form submission.
- Social Media Data: When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we access your public profile information, page list, and messaging data to provide customer support features.
- Messages: Messages sent through Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct to connected business pages are processed to create support tickets.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform.
- Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store credit card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our services
- To process and respond to customer support inquiries
- To send transactional emails and notifications
- To improve our platform and user experience
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Facebook and Instagram Integration
When a business connects their Facebook or Instagram pages through Stapilo:
- We access page information and messaging data solely to provide customer support functionality.
- Messages are stored securely and associated with support tickets.
- We do not sell or share messaging data with third parties.
- Businesses can disconnect their pages at any time, which stops all data collection from those pages.
4. Zoom Integration
When you connect your Zoom account to Stapilo, we access — only as needed to provide the features you use:
- Zoom profile: your name, email, and plan entitlements.
- Webinar & meeting data: the events you create or manage through Stapilo.
- Registrant data: the name and email submitted at registration, and the Zoom-issued personal join links.
- Attendance: join and leave events, used for reporting.
- Cloud recordings: for events you choose to record, imported into your own media storage for replay.
Your Zoom OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and transmitted over TLS. We use Zoom data solely to operate these features; we do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can disconnect the integration at any time, which revokes our access and stops all further data collection from Zoom.
When you remove (deauthorize) the app from the Zoom Marketplace, we delete the data we obtained from Zoom for that account — stored OAuth tokens, the Zoom events created through the integration, their registrant records (including personal join links and attendance), and any imported recordings — and confirm the deletion to Zoom.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment processing partners who help us operate the platform.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure data storage, access controls, and regular security audits to protect your information.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies without your consent.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
